Wines from the Lost Oak Winery Family of Brands have won two Best-of-Class honors for the 2016 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition (held November 14-15 at the NRG Center for the upcoming 2016 edition of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo).

The winery’s Saku White, a surprisingly dry Orange Muscat/Reisling blend, won a Texas Reserve Class Champion award, and its Vintage Lane Oranginal Vin, a sweet, perfectly-balanced wine with citrus notes, won a Texas Class Champion award. Two other wines from Lost Oak medaled: the Tempranillo won a silver, while the Diamante Doble Merlot captured a bronze.

“We’re proud of how our wines performed at this year’s contest in Houston,” said Roxanne Myers, General Manager with Lost Oak Winery. “We’re especially pleased that a wine from our Vintage Lane brand was declared best-of-class, and we’re also glad to see our Saku White get accolades.”

More than 250 Texas wines were entered in this year’s contest.

The award-winning wines are available for purchase in the winery’s tasting room in Burleson as well as online. For more information about Lost Oak and Vintage Lane wines, as well as the Lost Oak Winery tasting room and its events, please visit the website at http://www.lostoakwinery.com/.
