BRYAN, Texas – Messina Hof Wine Cellars, Inc, www.messinahof.com, one of the fastest-growing, award-winning wineries in Texas, earned significant praise in 2014 international wine competitions.

Messina Hof gathered 26 medals for its Texas wines at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo 2014 Rodeo Uncorked!® International Wine Competition, and earned 14 Champion honors. “We were named “Top All-Around Winery” among over 900 wineries competing globally at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo 2013 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition. Many champion and double-gold honors have already been named in 2014. We also just received news of a gold medal for our 2011 Paulo Bordeaux Blend at the 2014 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This is very exciting for the local community and the impact to Texas tourism. I know I’m inspired!” Kidron Vestal, PR Manager for Messina Hof Winery & Resort

The awards keep coming for Messina Hof. At the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo® Wine Competition, Messina Hof earned “Best of Herd Texas Winery” for the third-consecutive year and 13 other notable placements in the competition.
